Central Thailand Highlights: Land of Buddha's and Smiles

With movie this I hope to express some of the unique and essential qualities of this magical and mystical part of Thailand. Laying on beaches, shopping, trekking through nature, you can do at many places, but here the heart (land of the smiles) and soul (land of the Buddha's) has been touched. Watching this video, combined with the special music, can be a relaxing and spiritual experience. The music I got from a monk in a Wat, without asking. He saw that I enjoyed the music, disappeared and came 15 minutes later back with a cassette. We will start in the capital Bangkok with the fairytale like Grand palace (Wat Phra Keo) and the adjoining Wat Pho. Wat is the Thai word for temple. We will also visit the ancient capitals of Sukhothai and Ayuthaya, with there magnificent monuments. There is of course much more to see, I hope you will enjoy it.
